Definitely right.When laymen think about Schizophrenia, they think of mentally ill people that could harm "normal people". That's why there is a fear on Schizophrenic patients. But the fact is , we must fear more that we are ignorant about Schizophrenia than fearing Schizophrenia itself. Anyway, thanks for the info, eh. Love it!

People with schizophrenia are known to die much earlier than expected. Up to 40% of this excess premature mortality can be attributed to suicide. This article reviews 128 studies looking at suicide and schizophrenia. Findings indicate that strong association with suicide include being young, male, and with a high level of education. Risk assessment is a core skill in psychiatry. Risk prediction for suicide in schizophrenia is known to be complex.
In a cross-over study, ten patients with schizophrenia were given either 6g of L-Lysine or a placebo every day for four weeks. Each of the patients had been on a stable dose of medication for the past three months and had been free from psychotic episodes for the two months before the study began. They were tested for blood levels of lysine as well as the severity of their symptoms (PANSS) and functional ability (including the Wisconsin Card Sorting and Trail Making tests) at the start, after four, and after eight weeks.
